Summer on the Horizon

Hey gang!

We have some great stuff on the horizon this month. Desiring Dead Flesh, old school crust punk featuring Bryan Hampton of Ripped Heart is here on May 10th. And it just gets more and more exciting.

We've paired up with Fusion Shows to bring Sworn In to Counter Culture on the 23rd. This is a show you won't want to miss featuring heavy hitting locals, Mortem and Elizabeth Stryde.

A week later, we have a real personal favorite, Nnamdi Ogbonnaya here with Detroit darlings Mover Shaker and Doc Waffles. This is a mixed bill with a little bit of every genre in it. Psychedelic rock and glam to verbose and playful hip hop. A real jewel of a show.

Then on June 3rd, Citizen returns to Counter Culture. We are beyond excited for them and our good friends in Forest Green. The Duhaime brothers play in each of these bands and it's one of the first time's they'll take the stage together with these respective bands. We are thrilled to host it and you should too.

As always, we encourage you to get out there and do something. Come to a show, make some art, hang it on our walls, go to the Red Eye and hang it on theirs! Connect with the Saginaw Basin Land Conservancy and help them plant wildflowers, go for a ride with the Counter Cruise. See a show at Dow Gardens this summer. Buy a ticket to Bledfest at the Hartland Performing Arts Center. Summer is here and we're ready to party.
